What Aura stores

Aura stores your selected time, sound, and volume on your device. Native mobile editions also store the active alarm so the operating system can deliver it. The browser edition does not keep an alarm armed when the page closes or reloads.

What Aura sends

Aura has no app account, advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or cloud alarm database. It does not upload your alarm settings or request your contacts, location, camera, or microphone. Audio and icons are bundled with the app.

Website hosting

When you use the website, the hosting provider receives normal web request information such as your IP address and browser information. Private previews may require the hosting provider's sign-in. Its privacy terms govern those hosting and authentication services. Installing the native mobile app does not require a hosting account.

Permissions

The website can request a screen wake lock while an alarm is armed. Android uses alarm scheduling, notification, foreground audio, and wake permissions. iPhone uses AlarmKit permission to schedule alarms. You can revoke permissions in your device settings.

Removing your settings

Clear the website's site data or uninstall the mobile app to remove local settings. Cancel an active alarm in Aura before uninstalling. No server-side account needs to be deleted.

Third-party links

Sound-credit and store links open third-party services, which have their own privacy policies.
